Camping List - What to bring when you go camping

The video above demonstrates the 3 essential Tips to camping packing:

1. Use a camping check list. Don't try to keep it all sorted in your brain. You'll break your head.

2. Pack by categories or groups. For example, pack your kitchen stuff together in one big bin. Pack your shelter - tent, mallet, mat in one big duffel bag. That way you are thinking of a few categories instead of being overwhelmed by 1,001 items.

3. At the end of your camping trip, pack your stuff back into the same groups so you are pre-packed for your next camping trip. Leave the items in the bags and don’t take them out when you need something because they'll end up getting forgotten. If the bags are packed correctly, all you need to do when you want to go camping is take them out of the basement and put them into the car.

For a camping packing list, email us by clicking here:

. You will receive a camping check list right away by email. The packing list is a Word document so you can edit it to your family's unique camping style.

Next: Camping is no longer about shivering under dreary flapping canvas. Today's camping is all about style, luxury and a dash of glamor. Learn how to choose your camping gear so you are not taken in by all the fancy bells and whistles out there.

Thanks, I like the camping list. Another thing to add on is something unique to your family. We always bring our pet rock, Earl, sounds weird I know, but everytime we unpack at the campground the kids are soo excited to see Earl. Strange, but cute!

I cannoy grt the list to print in a doc format. If you seen it as a PDF file or just in the body of the letter I will love you forever and be your best friend. (my dog agrees)
